The American College of Surgeons and the New England Surgical Society are offering an annual scholarship to subsidize attendance and participation in the Executive Leadership Program in Health Policy and Management at Brandeis University in Waltham, Massachusetts. The 2012 course takes place May 20–26, 2012. The award is in the amount of $8,000, to be used toward the cost of tuition, travel, housing, and subsistence during the period of the course. NESS 19th Annual Surgical Resident and Fellow Research Presentation Day

Thank you to all who attended the Resident and Fellow Research Day on Friday, May 4th. This was the first Presentation Day to be held in Connecticut at the UConn Health Center and the NESS was pleased to have over 60 in attendance. Stay tuned for dates and abstract submission deadlines for 2013.
